INSPIRED BY ART
Sanchita, pursued her passion for fashion by studying fashion management in New Delhi, India and later went on to complete her masters in San Francisco and Paris.
While in Paris, she met a fellow artist who was born in Congo and grew up in Paris as well. Together, they shared a common passion for sustainable fashion, art and ethics, and often sketched prototypes of bags designed for eco-conscious customers.

In December 2021 Sanchita went back to India and started her research on recycled organic fabrics/materials. As 2022 approached, she started to take the initiative of creating an eco-friendly and sustainable fashion brand. And thus Flypryde Paris was born.
From there began her dream of making the world a better place. Her products are an amalgamation of identities and ideas that come together to create bags and accessories for people that love fashion but also care for the environment.
Being a single mother herself, Sanchita strongly believes in woman empowerment and giving back to society.

Our vision at Flypryde Paris is to create a sustainable fashion brand that offers sustainable yet fashionable products to our customers. Sustainability is at the forefront and we work tirelessly to research innovative susatainable materials to reduce waste by providing durable and versatile products.
We are passionate about giving back to society by employing underprivileged single women in India so that they are equiped to provide for their families.
Moreover, we collaborate with skilled artisans who are visually impaired and unable to speak, to create our products. Our efforts towards sustainability and social responsibility are the essence of our brand.

We use scrap leather which is leftover from the shoe and leather garment industry in our belts/straps to make them durable products and thus avoid wastage

Recycled cotton Canvas
Recycled cotton for canvas is a great way to reduce the environmental impact of cotton production, which uses 70% more water and resources than recycled cotton.

Our metal mechanism is inspired by the humble button system, which is used with our multi-functional belts.
What is flypryde?
A word invented by me and a friend to define a combination of 3 values.
“ I was looking for a word to qualify something that is Sophisticated, artistic and ecofriendly.”
The simple fact of inventing a new word reinforced in me the feeling of imagination and innovation with an an artistic approach. The idea of starting this brand came to me on a rooftop while staring at the Sacré-Cœur -Basilica in Paris, with my head in the clouds - (FLY IN Paris and I instinctively started browsing ideas and brainstorming.
Dreamers.
I invented the word with my friend that encapsulated our meeting in Paris and the overpowering energy that made this brand come to life. Fly was due to the fact that we were on a rooftop, brainstorming ideas like the world had stopped for a minute. Pryde (Pride) referred to both of our very proud personalities ,backgrounds , cultures and our love for art and the different directions we were going to take these ideas forward.

Pride/Pryde refers to the convictions, the power of the self, a sort of verticality that enroots in the Earth to create alignment in between human, nature and art.
Hopefully one day this word will be a part of a dictionary :)
